Utah has outstanding mountain biking on a vast amount of federal and state lands in such legendary locations as Moab, Hurricane, and the mountains around Salt Lake City. Utah also offers a wide variety of terrain, ranging from high alpine to desert. All this diversity creates seemingly endless opportunities for mountain biking in Utah and makes the state ‘bucket list’ for most mountain bikers. Some of our favorite locations are below.
